Dry eye disease is a very common issue in patients. There are many options for treatment, including the use of high-quality eye drops, punctal plugs, and the OptiLight IPL treatment.  

The OptiLight IPL treatment is the only FDA-approved treatment for Meibomian Gland Disease (MGD), the most common cause of dry eye. This is a procedure done in the office over four sessions, usually two to four weeks apart. This is not covered by insurance.
